"What is the real object of our existence? What are we here for, why? This is something that we must elucidate with crystal clarity; This is something that we must weigh, analyze, judge serenely...We live in the world; for what purpose? We suffer the unspeakable; what for? We fight to get what is called bread, clothes and shelter, and after all what? Where are all our efforts? Living to live, working to live and then dying, is it a wonderful thing? Truly brothers, it is necessary to understand the meaning of our existence, the meaning of living .There are two lines in life: one could be called the "HORIZONTAL", the other, the "VERTICAL", and they form a cross within ourselves, here and now (not a second later, not a second behind). We need to objectify these two lines a bit..."
