Reflections on the Pre-Christian Esoteric Roots of Holy Week, also called Bright Week

  • Gnostic Institute of Anthropology 1514 Burwood Highway Tecoma, VIC, 3160 Australia (map)

This seminar is about the esoteric roots of Holy Week.

----------------

"Undoubtedly, Holy Week has very deep esoteric roots, because the initiate must work with the lunar forces, the forces of Mercury, and with the forces of Venus and the Sun, and of Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The Logos unfolds in Seven Regions and in accordance with the seven planets of the solar system.

The flame must appear in the physical body, it must advance in the vital body, it must continue its journey along the astral path, it must continue its journey through the world of the mind, it must reach the sphere of Venus in the causal world, it must continue or continue its journey through the world of the mind, it must reach the sphere of Venus in the Buddhic or intuitional world, and finally, on the seventh day, it will have reached the world of the Atman, the world of the spirit. Then the Master will receive the baptism of fire, which will radically transform him.

Obviously, the entire cosmic drama, as written in the four Gospels, must be lived within ourselves, here and now. This is not merely historical; it's something to be experienced here and now!"

V.M. Samael Aun Weor
