A Course in Self Knowledge, Dream Symbolism and the Tarot

  • Gnostic Institute of Anthropology 1514 Burwood Highway Tecoma, VIC, 3160 Australia (map)

This course of seminars provides an introduction to the Gnostic teachings of Self Knowledge, Dream Symbolism and the Tarot.

Each seminar explores a specific topic related to understanding and accessing direct knowledge. An important distinction to understand will be the knowledge related to our consciousness, or Being, and that emerging from our mechanical mind, or egos or "I's".

----------------

How can we transform ourselves, how can we awaken?

What are the different forms of direct knowledge that we can acquire?

What is the role of the Tarot in the path of self-realisation?

Do you want to have direct experiences with the distinct parts of your own Spiritual Being?

If mysticism, psychology, self-knowledge, dreams, meditation, and spiritual development are of interest to you, we invite you to attend our FREE public seminar.

----------------

Each meeting contains both theory and practice.

It is not necessary to have attended any previous seminars.

All events are delivered from the Gnostic Institute of Anthropology in Tecoma.

“The astral images reflected in the magical mirror of the imagination can never be translated literally, for these are only the symbolic representation of archetypal ideas. They must be utilised in the same way as a mathematician uses algebraic symbols.

Furthermore, we can say that such ideas come down from the Pure World of the Spirit. The archetypal ideas descending from the Being are marvellous, for they inform us either about the psychological status of any centre of the human machine, about esoteric or intimate matters, or about possible successes or dangers, etc. These are always enclosed within the marvellous cloak of symbolism.”
